Western Ohio Watercolor Society

Home Page

The Western Ohio Watercolor Society was founded in 1974 for the purpose of furthering interest in, and adding stature to, the use of watercolor as a fine art medium, as well as to encourage public interest in the medium. Watercolor is defined as water-based media, executed on paper.

Meetings feature noted watercolorists from all over the country as speakers or demonstrators. Click here to see a schedule of program speakers.

The meetings are open to the public and are held on the third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m., with Food & Fellowship at 6:00 p.m., September through November and February through April. They are held at the Springfield Museum of Art, 107 Cliff Park Road, Springfield, Ohio. Click here to see a copy of our most recent newsletter with information about our next speaker, workshops, shows and exhibitions in the area, and news about members.
